Believing is a splendid release of your gravity !!

Believing is for me as enlightenment, as a verb, as an acquaintance ritual with God, as an opening to an endless source and as an exercise.

Believing is for me as enlightenment, it sheds new light on your life and it makes it lighter. It frees you from yourself as a center of gravity.

Believing is for me is like a verb that describes the formation of a relationship, with my God the designer, in the persons of Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Believing requires an effort, just as long-term love between people requires action, just as love is a verb, and not automatism: reading in the Bible books, praying to God, thinking about who God is, listening to teaching about God, you letting your heart speak in a love song, talk about God, relate your daily experiences to God and live according to God's will. For me God is my source, my goal, for this life and that after. Getting to know this God and especially following it, I want to make an effort, I want to go for that.

Believing in this life for me is like an acquaintance in which God and I circle each other as in a kind of dance, in which I am like a planet revolving around its axis, revolving around a sun. Without him, I am not in my orbit, and in all those seemingly useless repeating tumbles, ellipses and circular movements, in the difficult and beautiful experiences, I slowly get more and more insight into who He is. More insight into how he gives my life movement and direction and how we come from Him. The result is that I discover an extra reality on the same planet, of its offer of hope, renewal, creativity, love, service, forgiveness and satisfaction. And I can distribute something of a view of that reality to others.

The moon once revolved around its axis and around the earth and the earth around the sun. But because of the orbit around the earth, its turn around its own axis is synchronized so that we always see the same side from Earth. That may be a nice analogy for our role. That we are like a moon that reflects the light of the sun / God in the night, that our lives are attuned to this.

Believing is for me as an endless source destined for the exercise of God's vision. Another comparison: imagine that water has everything we need for our life, but you only know it from the perspective that we have on land or worse in the desert. You drink from this happiness, you collect from it what you can, but you will largely slip through your fingers if you want to take it. Everything in you asks for more but you can not find this. In this equation, believing for me as learning is discovering that there is also a world in the water and underwater, and that God wants to give us air to live together on land, but also in a sea of love, apart from our gravity.

Believing requires practice, just like exploring the sea. Learning to swim, learning to swim underwater with a breath of air, learning how to snorkel, learning to dive on a snake, learning to dive with a diving bottle, learning to dive with special gases. By going for it, immersing yourself in it, an extra reality, a new world opens up for you, a reality that convinces you. A reality in which you learn to look as God looks, in which you get to know God, where you come home, in which you discover a paradigm where many pieces of the puzzle fall into place and a reality becomes visible of hope, renewal, creativity, love, service , forgiveness and satisfaction.
