Are we gone?

Child labour? Talpa and ministry talk about Claire (3) in Chateau Meiland. Talpa is talking to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment about how much the three-year-old girl Claire will be on show in the TV show Chateau Meiland. Claire is the daughter of one of the people in the series, Maxime Meiland. Maxime's mother, and Claire's grandmother, Erica Meiland told Veronica Magazine that the Ministry had intervened and that The toddler can only be on TV five times a year, but the media company hopes to change that.

“In Chateau Meiland we follow the real daily life of the Meiland family of which Claire is of course a part. It would be very unnatural to keep her out of the picture. Claire's well-being is at all times at the top and it is always our intention to comply with applicable regulations. In this case, these rules prove to be less suitable for reality programs such as Chateau Meiland", says Talpa to the ANP on Tuesday.

At the moment, Talpa is “in good consultation" with the Ministry on visualising Claire. “We assume that we can make good agreements with each other so that Claire remains visible as a family member in the program."

The new series of Chateau Meiland can be seen from 1 March at SBS6. In the first three episodes of the season, Claire probably sits, told Erica.

This used to be normal.
