Budget lunch: Brie sandwich with paprika

Brie cold, I like. For example, with cucumber. I'd never tried Brie warm before. That's what happened at lunch. I still had a couple of buns and some peppers left. That seemed like a nice combination.
And yes, it was very good!

  • Oven
  • Baking tray
  • Baking paper
  • Cutter
  • Cutting board
  • Brie
  • Sweet pepper
  • Basil
  • Olive oil
  • Ovenbuns

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
  2. Put a sheet of baking paper on the baking sheet
  3. Wash the pepper, remove the seeds
  4. Cut the brie and paprika into slices
  5. Cut the oven bread into two halves
  6. Place the bread halves on the baking tray, with the grease side upwards
  7. Spread with slices of brie and paprika
  8. Sprinkle some basil over it
  9. Put a little dash of olive oil on it
  10. Ten minutes in the oven.

If a piece of bread tends to roll over, put some paprika right next to it to support it. (I forgot about that, so at half the brie walked next to it. No disaster, but it could have been avoided.)
Pepper loose is (in proportion often) more expensive, than if you buy it packaged per three pieces. And you can do so much with it. I eat that in between, too, raw. Delicious. Or, for example, create a paprika salad of.
