A url is the full link of a web address. For example a post on Yoors.
Such a link starts with https://
An example: The url of my Pinterest tips overview looks like this: https://yoo.rs/praktische-tips-met-betrekking-tot-pinterest-1520418287.html
Why would you want to pin a url?
If there is no part button, it's a nice alternative. Pinterest searches for the images by itself, from the corresponding article.
How to pin via url?
In the browser:
- Sign in to Pinterest
- Click “Create”
- Choose “Create Pin”
- Choose “Save from Website” tab
- Enter url
- Pinterest looks for any available images. Click one
- Choose the board (and any board section)
In-app:
- Open Pinterest app
- Click “+”
- Choose “Pin”
- Click the globe
- Enter url
- Click “Search”
- Pinterest looks for any available images. Click one
- Choose the board (and any board section)

Pin you (sometimes) via the url as well?
Do you find it a handy post? Then share it. For example by pinning it via url 😉 12 comments
