A false dentist was arrested by officials of the Corps for Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations (Cicpc) in Barinas state. In addition, several inputs were seized.
Through the Instagram account of Commissioner General Douglas Rico, Cicpc's national director, it was learned that Jorge Alí Sánchez Sierra, 41, was arrested in the El Carmen sector, Antonio José de Sucre municipality, for allegedly illegally practicing as a dentist.
According to the post, a commission of the Barinas Municipal Delegation had been investigating the case for days until they arrived at an office where they were practising dental and orthodontic procedures fraudulently.
After the arrest, the detectives seized several implements they used to carry out the alleged treatments, which put the health of the population at risk.
