Hello, my name is Ana, I am Venezuelan, that's what my identity card says (the main document in the country that you get from the age of 9 years approximately) and my passport. I don't live in Venezuela, as it is well known, the political and economic situation is so critical that it is impossible to have a good quality of life.

I´m currently in Peru, I will already have two years here, but the truth is that it feels like an eternity, I miss my country, my people, the flavors of the food, everything is totally different. However, I have adapted well to Peru, its customs, its people and its food, although I don't like spicy food. I have a daughter who is my everything, she is 4 years old, and my husband and I look for the best for her every day.

We have adapted, but we do not feel that this is our definitive place to make roots, I constantly search, read and think, what will be a better place, we are constantly preparing for any change, we don't take anything for granted and even less now with this pandemic. Today we are in Peru obtaining the foreigner's card and tomorrow we can be citizens of another country in the world.

That is the reason why I was so interested in joining Yoo.rs #iamnewhere , it´s a way to meet people, places, cultures, practice another language like English and to be able to publish and be read and heard by others is priceless, that is relaxing after a day of work, I don't know if I fall short with so many attributes that the platform has, attributes that since March 15 I´m taking advantage and discovering. I hope this is my first publication of many.

Greetings and if you can follow me, thank you!

In the pictures, our arrival in Peru, the first Christmas and my family.

@Zulaima Thank you, for your invitation.
