Five minutes to time, five minutes to time, my sock is lost.
Rummaged everywhere, no where to be found, my white school sock, with a blue stripe. Everyone has left, only I and Nora, my sister's white cat, whom we have never been friends.
Had ignored her for two years. She had tore my shoes, my school bag, and bedsheet.
Then she gave me a mischievous look, and I guessed where my sock was, she had it, she had hid it, in her layer, she had slept on it, thank goodness. I am off to school.
Though the sock did smell, cat fur, warm with cat warmth. I am smooth, I am smooth. Off to school.
