The collections is just breathtaken.
I fell in love with the Storybook Palette. Sadly I wasn’t able to get it when it came out. Because the make up wasn’t send worldwide yet. And when it did the Storybook Palette was already sold out.
Luckily they brought out 2 extra palettes. The keep singing palette and the I’m wishing palette. These were smaller versions of the Storybook Palette.
I bought the “keep singing palette”, “ever after” translucent pearl powder, “with a Smile and a Song” Cream Rouge, classic Snow White Red lipstick and the Classic book bag.
I mean look at this beautiful collection. Look at the details. The mirror of the compact powder has a little Snow White bird and bunny on at. And same goes for the eyeshadow palette. This palette even has two Snow White quotes.
The whole collection is 1939. And the whole collection is Snow White.
Only the outside alone is worth it. I never had make from besame before. So i didn’t know what to expect but the make up is truly the best. Honostly.
I loved trying it on. And experiencing the different colours.
What I want to show you are four different Snow White looks which are created with this make up.
Classic Snow White look:
I began by applying a face primer and a eyeshadow primer. Than I used my normal foundation. After that I used the ever after translucent pearl powder. Its an amazing powder. It gives a real smooth light porcelain skin which Snow White has. Truly amazing.
A lot of people love this powder. There for it’s said that maybe the powder will still be available at besame after the Snow White collection is gone. Only in different packaging.
After the powder I used the ” with a Smile and a Song Cream Rouge on the cheeks. It is a gorgeous coral pink shade. And it definitely gives the Snow White vibes you want.
Than it’s time for applying the eyeshadow. For my first look I wanted to play with the Classic Snow White colours. The blue, yellow and red.
I start it off with the blue ‘Once Upon A Time’ colour.
Than I used the ‘Apple’ red eyeshadow for the outside of the eyelid and for the lower eyelid.
Than its time for the inner eyelid. I applied the yellow ‘Destiny’ eyeshadow. And ‘White as Snow’ under the eyebrows.
To finish the Classic Snow White look.
You have to paint your lips red.
I used the ‘Snow White Red’ for the lips.
“Faithful recreations of Snow White’s lip color, based on the original “Ink and Paint” colors of the 1937 animated classic. The gold case features Snow White’s flower, the apple blossom.”
This beautiful lipstick is just perfect. It’s a soft red colour with a hint of pink in it. The lipcolour last really long. And it’s really soft and smooth to apply.
“Using only the safest and best ingredients we make long lasting lipsticks to give you classic glamour of any era. Encased in a gold lipstick bullet inspired by the tubes of the 1940s, these treasures will look lovely when applied, having everyone turn heads. With our classic lipstick shape designed for form and function, used for many lipsticks in the 1930s and 1940s, you can apply with ease.”
“Use the sharp tips to line lips and the blunt side to fill in color. Blot once or twice with tissue for long lasting wear.”
Than apply some mascara on your lashes and voila the Classic Snow White look is all done.
Snow White rags look:
For the second look I was inspired by Snow White in her Rags dress.
First I applied the face and eyeshadow primer than my normal foundation.
Than the ever after translucent pearl powder and I used the “with a Smile and a Song Cream Rouge on the cheeks. AND ON THE LIPS!
For the eyes I used neutral colours. First the colour ‘Forest’ and than the colour ‘The Fairest’.
Forest is the colour I used in my upper eyelid as well as on my lower eyelid.
The Fairest is used for my inner eyelid an under the eyebrows.
Apply some mascara and this soft rags snow white look is done.
EVIL Queen look:
My third look is the look inspired by the evil queen.
First things first: face primer, eyeshadow primer, foundation. Ever after translucent pearl powder and the with a Smile and a Song Cream Rouge.
Eyeliner on your upper eyelid and than it’s time for the eyeshadow.
The first eyeshadow I used is of course ‘Witch’. This black eyeshadow is the perfect base for the evil queen.
For the inner eyelid I used the colour ‘The Huntsman’. I also used this colour for the lower eyelid.
Because this is a dark look overall I used ‘the Fairest’ under the eyebrows.
Iconic Snow White look:
For my last look I wanted to make a iconic snow white look.
Face: face primer, eyeshadow primer, foundation, ever after translucent pearl powder and the with a Smile and a Song Cream Rouge.
For the lips the Snow White Red.
And for the eyes I used the eyeshadows: forest (utter eyelid and lower eyelid) apple ( upper eyelid) Destiny (inner eyelid) and the fairest ( under the eyebrows).
I love this make up. And I love this colour palette.
