What time is sunrise today?

Throughout the day, sunrises and sunsets change. Climate change is greatest in polar regions and is least in equator regions. My home city of Ahmedabad has sunrises that start as early as 6 a.m. and last until 7:15 a.m. am in December. Even closer to the poles, there can be differences: for instance, in June in Oslo, the sun rises at around 4 am, while in December it rises at around 9:15 am. Every day, does the sunrise come from 'True East'?'”

•  Unfortunately, no. Sunrises are exactly due east only at the equinox at the equator.
•  In the days until the Solstice
•  The Sun will appear to rise a few fractional degrees farther from the equator every day when it will be 21.3 degrees away from the equator.
•  After that, it will appear to move in the opposite direction every day until the next equinox, when it rises due east again
•  After that, it will remain off by 23.5 degrees until the next solstice.
•  Thereafter, the cycle repeats itself where it began.

There is also a similar pattern at other latitudes, though the day when the Sun rises due east will be different, and the amount of shift will be the same, though the starting and stopping points may be different.
When the sun rises at the poles, it is almost never directly east.

How long does it take the sun to rise in the east?

•  You may have heard the saying in your life:
• The sun will remain on the eastern horizon and set on the western horizon tomorrow.
•   I don't think it means the world is going to end at sunrise; you get the idea.
•  Do you ever wonder why the sun behaves as it does?
• How come the Sun rises in the east and sets in the west and always has?
•  How is this possible?

Ancient people understood the passage of the Sun as a sign that it was rotating around us. Since the advent of modern astronomy, we've learned that it's the other way around. As our planet orbits the Sun and rotates on its axis while doing so, it appears as if it is revolving around us. Based on the movement of the Sun through the sky, we measure time.

The Earth rotates around its axis:

•  While orbiting the Sun, the Earth rotates on its axis.
•  In a view from above the celestial north, it appears that the Earth rotates counterclockwise.
•  Due to this phenomenon, the earth is being rotated in a westerly direction as the Sun moves around us at a rate of 25° per hour (or 25′ per minute) from the surface of the sun.
•  As all objects in the sky move from east to west, it is true that they have an apparent motion from east to west.

•  In the celestial north, the motion of the Earth appears counterclockwise.
•  In combination with the Earth's axial tilt of 28.63 toward the ecliptic, this results in seasonal changes.
•  A hemisphere also receives varying amounts of sunlight over the course of a year, in addition to temperature variations.

During the summer months, when the North Pole points towards the Sun, A summer season is experienced in the northern hemisphere, whereas a winter season is experienced in the southern hemisphere. Due to the warmer summer temperatures, the sun sets later at night and rises earlier in the morning. Winter brings a drop in temperature, shorter days, and later sunrises and sunsets.
