Quilting...

… keeps my hands busy,

my mind calm,

my heart happy

and my family warm!

Nederlands

English

I have been quilting for a few years now and I finished various projects.

Below an overview. Every quilt has it’s own story. If I have written a blog on a project, the link has been added.

It becomes very clear that my skills are improving! :-)

Regarding materials, I use whatever is available even it isn’t made of 100% cotton. I was raised in a poor family and I was taught not to waste anything, so in my quilts you’ll find – besides quilting fabric – pieces of repurposed fabric of clothing, table cloths, curtains, cotton diapers, bedlinens.
