Despite my introverted nature I love learning languages. The ability to speak more languages can be considered a superpower. In today's world with the media set on fear tactics to make us afraid of any culture that is slightly different than us, learning new languages broadens our horizons. It introduces us to a whole new world of people and their customs.

As the famous saying goes:

"There is no closer way to a man's heart than speaking his native language."

1) Learn the verbs first!

The primary focus of language is to communicate needs or an action. Even though most courses like to start with the: ''Hello, how are you?'', let's be frank we don't need to waste a whole hour on the million different ways to say: "I'm fine, thanks!". If you can memorize the 100 most important verbs of any language, you are halfway there. Don't stress about the numerous conjugations if you are already in the country, with time they will be easy to absorb from the other natives and we should never be embarrassed to take tips from them as well.
