#100happydays day 28
Birthday in Coronatijd
For the first time in my life, I think I can't go to my dad's birthday. Except maybe once he was abroad as a professional soldier.
Well, what now? At least it yielded some creative ideas. For example, I made a Facebook event and asked family to put something nice. There came the necessary video messages with festive and creative messages. Very nice! After all, you have to. Also sent a card to give something tangible, even if it is not personal. Not being able to eat a pastry and drink coffee feels weird today. Even though we have nothing to complain about, we're all still healthy.
A blessing in this time. Then Skype, again I am very grateful to live in this digital age, now it's still a bit like you're sitting together. Better something than nothing after all!
Hopefully this summer we can celebrate again sometime together.
In order to have the feeling of celebrating a bit, we ourselves only got some goodies for coffee.
Luckily enough people think about my parents, so maybe they're still busy today with all the calls and stuff.. I am grateful for my still fit parents, even though they are now 76 years old. Hiep, hiep, hiep, hurray!
