It is often a hit that Balou comes home with a bird or mouse. Of course, that doesn't make me happy. Balou, on the other hand, does. As a rule, the animal does not survive, but this time the bird would have decided otherwise.
Just like my pigeon back then. Iza had escaped and needed freedom for a moment. Leaving her girlfriend Marietje sad. She then gets a nod in the neck, because she is constantly scouring the sky to see if Iza is nearby.
When Iza had tasted enough freedom, she naturally came back to base. And that's what Balou was waiting for her.
I came downstairs and my living room full of white feathers. My heart was beating 120 per minute. I had to work and didn't have time to find where she left off either, because I couldn't find her in speed. I was so sad. Iza and Marietje are such a nice and cute couple. And just when I wanted to go out, I see Iza sitting in the corner of my eye.

On top of my closet. Added the ladder and put mippie back in the loft. Marietje happy and Iza happy (I think 😉), but definitely me!! But since 1 June, my bird park has been expanded with a magpie. I think she fell out of the nest and Balou is a rappe with a big ass. What I never really succeeded did work this time and was able to get the magpie out of its mouth right away. Well, and then I suddenly had to raise a magpie. Never expected Uk (that's what I call her) to survive. The cat bed was removed from the shed and Uk put in and locked in the bathroom. Now my bathroom is downstairs, so very practical. Don't I have to walk up the stairs every time to see if I'm still alive. I wanted to wait a little longer before going to the bird sanctuary, because that only causes more stress. First, see if she would survive the night. And miraculously, she did. In the meantime, I went to the pet store and bought bird peanut butter with mealworms.

Who hasn't grown up with Peanut Butter 😉 Kvind ut gewoon lekkah.

Look at that face, then. To melt, right?

This is where I put her on the roof. Perhaps she was already able to fly. But she couldn't do that, so hop back into the cat bed.
