In the 18th century, women's fashion stood out, as the “style
Watteau”, with very voluminous skirts, with large folds and train up to
floor. In the French Revolution women wore bodices, skirts
round and cloth shawls.

In the 19th century the clothing was that of the modern man, because the jacket
used became wider and shorter, taking the shape of the current one and the
pants were wide at the top and narrowed to the ankle, too
straight-cut coats began to be worn. In women, the waist was lowered to the waist, they began to use wide sleeves and shoulder pads, and wide skirts
