I use baking soda very often. I ended up on this website once from Laura's bakery (Laura Kieft) and many uses already used.
Such as mouthwash. If you are prone to inflammation, then rinse with baking soda disinfecting. That includes the facial scrub listed below. I tried it, but it also dries out your skin. Maybe another idea for the childhood breakouts.
I also use it about 2 times a week to brush my teeth. I have a baking soda tray where I dip the toothbrush. By the way, I immediately knew where what was used in the paradontax toothpaste. I recommend not doing it more often because it works like a scrub. Would be a shame if your enamel falls off your teeth -)
I'm an oven in the kitchen. Burnt Pans. Trust me. one night in the baking soda and hot water and in the morning the pan is pretty easy to clean again.
I have heeeeeeele sweet kittens, but Isabel as a frightened and unsocialized kitten I have ever received in the shelter and if anything changes in the house or I am busy then it may happen that she pees in the house (natuuuuuuuulijk on the only rug that lies; -)) That I clean with baking soda and then sprinkle baking soda over it so that it does not smell. Works perfectly.
Below is a list of what else you can do with it. I have standard baking soda in the cupboard. And I never bake with it actually.

Do you remember handy pinch you can use baking soda for?
Where to buy baking soda and is it not just the same as soda/baking powder etc.
So, baking soda is not the same as ordinary soda or baking powder. There are some different names for. Baking Soda and Sodium bi carbonate are exactly the same as baking soda. But if you leave the 'bi' away, you have a completely different product. Sodium carbonate is the 'regular' soda you buy in the supermarket and clean with (although you can do that with baking soda, of course). You can't use this one when baking.
The baking powder does have the same effect (leavening agent) as baking soda, but it is really different from baking powder. Baking powder is a mixture of baking soda (a fourth part) and an acid (three fourth part). Still a leavening agent but much less strong than baking soda.
