75HARD - week one complete!
I made a post last week, about the challenge I am currently doing. To know the rules and basic information, you can read that post.
My week went pretty well, and overall I am very happy with my efforts and results.
- 10 pages of a non-fiction book: This is the easiest for me, because I love reading and usually read more than ten pages a day. I love starting the day right by reading my Bible, and I am also currently reading The Vision, by David Wilkerson.
- Drink a gallon of water: With all the running I have been doing, I am naturally thirsty for about a gallon of water. Sometimes I start drinking too late, though, and I end up peeing three times a night! I'll make sure to improve on that this week.
- Diet: My diet is carb-heavy because I love carbs and it's my main source of fuel on my runs. I have been eating too much bread, and this is also something I want to do better on this week.
- No alcohol/junk food/cheat meals: I did have pizza a couple of times last week, but I don't count it as a cheat meal or junk food, because my husband makes THE BEST healthy vegan pizza. Still, I should cut back on the pizza a little. It will be hard, but that's the name of the challenge, so...
- Workouts: I have been running, running, running and running. I ran 75 km in total last week! :) I've also done push-ups and walks for my workouts.
- Progress selfie: I have to remind myself to take selfies, this is something I don't normally do, so I have to be mindful of it! I don't see a huge difference, but like I said, my main goal wasn't weight loss, although I did end up losing about a kilogram.
