“A touch of frost and spring”.
That's what I thought when I looked at the garden this morning.
She is the only survivor in the entire yard.
Even now that it has a layer of snow and ice on it, it remains bright yellow, waiting for some warmer rays.
The plum tree has its first delicate blossoms.
They were not spared either and were given a white layer.
This is not going to be a plum. I've never heard that snow caused pollination.
It does make for nice pictures, that delicate flower with an icy layer on top.
The red witch hazel (hamamelis) has also been given an icy coat.
Leftovers of snow slowly drip away and show red flowers.
The yellow crocuses in the grass are still tiny for now.
H their cup is covered in snow.
