A child's joy...

There's nothing like a child's uninhibited happiness.
Pure, carefree joy, once loved by me too.

Innocence, curiosity, and genuine joy in the little things in life.
Without worrying about the future or the past, which are oh so often painful moments.

How simple and how beautiful can happiness be.
Today I'm getting a life lesson from a child, she's still small.

Pure childhood joy, she teaches me that happiness does not lie in what I have, but in the choices I make and in the love I give.
She shows a freedom in the moment, something I haven't strived for for too long.

A moment without worries, even without pain.
Laugh fearlessly again. it feels far away, but oh, how nice it feels.

So when I look at her eyes, clear and pure, I realize that happiness is often simple and not expensive at all.

If I manage to love the childlike joy in myself again, I'm sure I still have a lot to gain.
