Hello, dear Yoors users!

Today I would like to show you a creative way to expand a house in The Sims 2 without adding on to the house (this means without enlarging the building or adding a basement/attic).

Originally, this trailer park had two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen with a dining area and had no living room.

What I did was move the bathroom to the kitchen. I made the bathroom two by three - big enough to fit a shower-tub combo + a sink and a toilet. I also used a mod to be able to place stuff on the angular counter in the kitchen. I used custom shelves to put appliances on them - that freed up counter space for the Sims to cook. I placed the table in such a way to allow an extra chair to be added (for guests) without taking up too much space. The fridge was moved so that an extra counter could be added to the kitchen.

What used to be the children's bedrooms was converted to an adult bedroom. They had to sacrifice the bigger bedroom, which was divided into two smaller three by four tiled bedrooms - that way each child has its own private space. Each room can be converted into a shared bedroom for even more space.

The leftover space of the house was used for a family room with activities. I put a desk for a computer, a piano, a bookshelf, a sofa (with extra slots for seating) and a TV.

Of course, none of that would have been possible without Custom Content.

Thank you for checking my post out!
