A dangerous friendship - Part 13
The alarm already sounds at a quarter past seven, so that she can be with her horse Pien no later than 9 am to ride for a bit and then have time for care. Normally, Anne only goes horse riding around 10 am. Because of her 11 am date with Remco, today's schedule is a little different than usual. She has arranged the time in such a way that she can take an extensive amount of time to shower before she has her date. She has no desire to smell like a horse during her date. According to Anne, that could be a big turn-off. When her parents ask what the plan is for today at breakfast, she replies that she has agreed to meet with Fleur after riding.
“How nice”, her parents shout. “You haven't seen that one for a while, I'm sure it's nice to catch up?”
“Yes,” Anne mumbles.
“What are you going to do together today?”
