I don't think you already know this but I read a lot of books. Because I get a lot of questions about this, I decided every time I read a book a kind of review of this on Yoors.
On the advice of a friend I started a new book series. At first I was a bit skeptical about it, it seemed a bit Twilight for adults.
A discovery of witches ( I read the book in English) starts very slowly. I really thought I was not going to like it. After a while you really feel in the story. Matthew is very engaging, in a strange way. Diana sometimes frustrates me very much. She makes weird decisions and asks a lot of questions. I started to like her more and more, and you get sympathy for the way she goes through life.
The book has a lot of slow descriptive passages that you sometimes have to struggle through.
