this was no exception! , in that comment I referred to an experience lived at the university without going into detail, in response to it she motivated me to share that experience and that is what I will tell you.
It happened many years ago, back in the 90s, when I was studying in education at the university where I graduated, specifically in a class on the complementary subject of self-development, the professor named Donaldo, began as always with his stories, spoke passionately to us about metaphysics, relaxation and others things, I think you're a little away from the end of the matter!, but which attracted attention and were interesting at the same time. On one occasion Donaldo appeared in the class with an artifact that surprised us and caught everyone's curiosity a lot, two tubes joined by a pin that looked like a hinge, had a strange functioning, he showed us how it worked, he took it and made a movement, the tube in his hand brought him closer to his body, while the other tube was I moved away from him, then when he drove him away, he approached him, it was a fun move, he gave such an instrument a name, but in truth, I don't remember! I only know that he was an energy channeler according to his words. That day I did a relaxation activity in the middle of class, for such an activity I needed a volunteer, do not hesitate to offer me!, the truth is that I wanted to boycott your activity!, there were few men in group only 3, the rest a large group of thin, young, weak-looking women, hehehehe, men were no exception! Donaldo started turning the instructions, a chair was placed in the center of the room, in which I should sit, 4 girls were selected, who surrounded me, they were asked to place their index fingers under my arms and legs (2 on each arm and 2 on each leg), then they tried to get me up, the first attempt was a complete failure, raising only a little, especially the arms. I had done everything possible so that my companions would not be able to do what Donaldo asked for.
In view of such a failure, he asked that they try again, but before that he turned certain instructions, he asked that we close our eyes and concentrate on our breathing, inhaling deeply and exhaling gently, also that we relax our bodies and everyone would think that I was lighter than a feather. on this occasion I gave myself completely to the instructions given by Donaldo, I breathed several times deeply visualizing my body, I saw this very light, so much so that it lifted me up, I gave myself both to that thought that later I saw my body and in 3 planes, consciously I was in the one above. At an instruction from Professor Donaldo, the girls lifted me up, I felt like I was getting up and moving from the seat approximately one meter high, even though my eyes were closed, I felt the displacement by place; at another instruction they placed me back in the chair, breathe deeply and open your eyes little by little! commented Donaldo, despite feeling very heavy palpates, I slowly opened them, in me there remained that feeling of seeing 3 Naf on top of each other in a state of tranquility and absolute peace that I liked. After this experience, I never had any thoughts of spoiling things for the teacher, becoming a good friend of him. I couldn't find an explanation for that experience, nor did I get obsessed with looking for it, I don't know if it was autosuggestion! or the energy that radiated in the group made me experience that phenomenon, the truth is that despite having passed the years, more than 30 years, in my mind that memory remains lucidly. Before telling this anecdote, try to search the internet for a photo that would serve to place it in the publication, observing that some such experience was used in the form of quackery and there are even videos explaining how to perform the deception, I lived it!, it's enough for me and I wanted to share it

Your anecdote reminds me of a hypnosis from an acquaintance of mine. A Hypnotist known in Europe gave a hypnosis show at a dance center where I took dance lessons (more than 30 years ago).
