A greeneater in the rainforest: the Capybara
In a documentary, I saw how these robust mammals had managed to live peacefully alongside other large animals in the rainforest.
They snuggled up close to a crocodile and a tapir.
It was claimed that he was not threatened by any animal.
But upon closer inspection, the animal also has enemies. Which is actually natural among the wild nature. The jaguar, caiman, alligator turtle and anaconda see him as their prey.
The Capybare is the largest living rodent species and usually weighs between 35 and 66 kilograms. The heaviest animals weigh 91 kg.
