A little about Zwolle


We will go jumping to Zwolle, to get to know her a little more.

Zwolle is famous not only for its incredible medieval sights, but also for its rich cultural life.

Every year, an interesting food festival is held here, and in winter, the traditional Ice Sculpture Festival.

The city is joined by artisans from all countries to cut unique sculptures from shapeless ice pieces and submit them to the court of a strict jury.

In addition to luxurious sculptures, a real ice hotel is built in the city, where you can spend a few days and fully experience the unique winter atmosphere of this city.

Lucky travelers visiting Zwolle during the Christmas season have a chance to try a quirky type of donuts called Oliebollen.

This is a festive dish, so the batter for these donuts contains raisins and fruits.

Tourists interested in unusual desserts shouldn't forget to order Haagse Bluf at local cafes and sweet shops.

This is the term for dessert that contains egg whites beaten with sugar and various fruit syrups.
