Incubation?

Part 4.
“Pierre, do you know why I am punishing you?” Father Giles was asking sternly, reaching for the cane on top of the bookshelf in his office.

Giles hand stopped mid air while reaching for the cane when Pierre answered, “because you love me?”
“What,” Giles without taking the cane off the bookshelf turned towards Pierre. Never had he heard an answer like that. “what, did you say?” Giles needed to hear it again, just to be certain, now bending towards Pierre.

“Because you love me,” Pierre now made a statement. There was no expression of fear for punishment in his face, yet the expression in Pierre’s face was not blank as one would expect from a child that was to be caned.

“How on earth did you come to that conclusion, child?” Giles was puzzled. For a moment he had forgotten that Pierre needed to be punished for getting into a fight the night before. Russell had already been punished.

I love this to read. So well written I think. I'm going to share it again for you.
Wise child. And it was his rescue from blows, happy. Think he's learning more from this. Be Taken Seriously.
I like the reading that has provided us thanks for that I know that it is not easy to find creativity to write
A reading with reflection there is nothing more beautiful than that, let's leave the fiction a little and thank these types of articles
You write very well, I congratulate you on it first and I like the way you give us a reflection, I just love it
I like stories that leave you a reflection class is wonderful, thank you for sharing the story friend a hug
is a story that leads us to reflection, very well written, although somewhat crude friend, we will wait for the next part,
is a great story for reflection and to review our lives and assess if everything is okay or what we want to be
good story friend @Arukah Tsur , my mind does not enter such severity to achieve the learning of something
I have noticed throughout reading everything you have published that the story talks about topics and things that happen to be more aware of them
I was struck by that Giro that had given as more emotion to everything as a range of feelings
Very good another day reading this part of your story I really like it I feel that in addition to being a story it has a background
I am fascinated by history because in itself it has many things to tell and give us to see, giving it something very interesting
A good episode of your story through that built-in twist. That keeps the readers' attention in a follow-up story.
It is an excellent story, a good publication that invites us to reflect on the life of our lord and the life of each of us.
Awesome! It is a great truth what the little boy did. We tend to manipulate those who are close to us and even God's commands. I follow you!
What a great episode this is with that unexpected twist, I loved reading it. Now for sure Pierre managed to step into the spotlights here.
