A mission against cancer...

Knight from Roman times.

It's quiet words are not spoken there for a moment.

All of us have dived into our minds.

Your breathing, still controlled and rhythmic just like your feet.

On our way to Rotterdam together, because we want, because “we have to”.

Every step you take brings us closer to the end of our journey.

Along with a mission, along with 14 in the hour departed from Paris.

We have a mission and feel involved at the end of a lifetime.

To be able to mean something in this, that is our aim!

Rhythmically, your feet go on and every step is for them.

For our warring loved ones and for those I don't know at all.

For those who fell, with cancer as their fate.

For those who have to keep going, but with their lives locked.

Every step and every kilometer we get closer to the end, but we are allowed to continue.

You feel the pain of the thought and you go for it.

You are a Ropar rider, just like a knight in Roman times.

And not because you just live, but because you're fighting for someone else!!!

To me, you are a knight and this poem is my gift.
