A Morning Conversation Between Leek and String Bean in Mevrouw Groentje's Tuin
In Mrs Groentje's garden, when the morning dew was still glistening on the leaves, Leek and String Bean stood together among the other vegetables, ready for a new day.
“Good morning, Leek” Snijboon exclaimed happily, his long, slender form reaching for the sky.
“Good morning, String Bean” answered Leek, its long leaves waving in the morning breeze. “What a lovely morning it is today, isn't it”
Snijboon nodded in agreement. “Absolutely! I always love watching the sun rise and see the garden come to life”
