A new life for our footwear
The need has led to the reinvention of Venezuelans in many things in this time of crisis, one of them is the restoration of footwear In our country the high cost of sports tires, which is the most common footwear, has led to the awakening of ingenuity, looking for alternatives that are ecological, using recycling in it.
A long time ago it was painful to throw away those tires that worked so much with us in games, or in different day-to-day activities; when their soles were punctured or broken, sending them to repair, they entailed a cost approximately that of a new one and the result was to get rid of them, but this has changed.

Using vehicle tires as a sole is not really new, when I was little it was common to use handmade footwear which we called “goajiras quotas”, they are made with great skill, with peculiar designs, using in their manufacture very durable materials such as nylon and rubber soles or soles from the vehicle tires, today I still use them to be in the house.

According to experts in the field of shoe repair, changing soles is one of the most requested jobs, but given the expensive nature of certain inputs such as plants, a few manage to manage and use recycled rubber material extracted from old tires of cars or motorcycles to lower costs.

The Good
From experience I dare say that it will be a sole for life, since with it footwear can be discarded because it deteriorates on the top but NOT on the bottom, extending its life. currently due to the proliferation of motorcycles, their tires are being used, which are more flexible and lighter. Changing soles to shoes costs approximately $15 depending on the type of sole or sole, with this alternative the price drops by half or more.
