A simple drawing assignment, for beautiful abstract art
I think we all go through it sometimes. Sometimes you have those moments when things are different. That a lesson is ready quickly, that it rains outside or that your children suddenly ask “Mom what can I draw?”. At these moments it is nice to have a fun, simple #tekenopdracht , which requires little material. During this assignment, we create a beautiful abstract work of art using a piece of paper, pencils, five lines and five circles.
Abstract art
In abstract art forms, lines and (primary) colors are more important than in other art directions. An abstract work of art is not based on reality. The artist Wassily Kandinsky was one of the first artists to create abstract art. He made a lot of use of circles, lines and planes.
Five lines and five circles
Only by drawing five circles and five lines, you can already create a beautiful abstract work of art. You can choose to draw five circles of the same size, but also five different ones. You can make them drain half of the paper or draw in its entirety. The lines can run along the circles, but also through them. You will see that even when you make this assignment with a large group, everyone will create a completely different work of art. Once you've drawn the lines and circles, color the whole. Here we show examples of pencils and markers, but of course you can also use wax or paint.
