A week without water. afl. 3
The first day and a half without water supply is done. Thanks to the rain yesterday in itself there is no shortage of water. I found the coal barrel and there is now 50 liters of rainwater in it, all buckets and watering cans are full and the well is steaming again. About. Halfway through the day I thought that the plugs of the water heater and the water softener should also be removed. Devices that normally do their work quietly but are now
unnecessary and may be damaged. longer than usual. Especially when I need hot water for something. The water must first pass through the provisory sieve in a pan and then on the stove to warm up. Yesterday I did that for the dishes and went to do something else while warming up. So finally sat with a pan Then only half in the washbasin and again sift water to mix. I do not use pots, pans and cutlery as possible. After use, I clean it as much as possible with paper towels and use it again. Normally I wash it only once a day. but only now I notice how often I rinse something quickly under the tap and use
it again. I thought I would be useful and use the dishwashing water for the toilet. That turned out to be not such a success. A grease edge in the toilet bowl that I saw only later and had dried up already. The small message does not cause any problems, but the big message refuses to leave the pot when I dump half a bucket of water. So now the lid of the cistern is demolished and it is filled with a bucket of water.
The dirty rugs and cushions of the dog - which has now been refreshed - were rained yesterday and are now in the sun to dry so I can brush off the remaining dry parts.
already said my day schedule is turned upside down and also the jobs planned for the coming time are not really enticing now. There is a door ready to be sanded, but that will make you very dirty and just take a quick shower is not there now.
