The Adam Quartet

ItADAM Quartetconsists of Margot Kolodziej, Hannelore De Vuyst, Liselot Blomaard, Renee Timmer. We are a Dutch string quartet consisting of graduate musicians from the Conservatory of Amsterdam.

Since February 2020 we are part of the Dutch String Quartet Academy where we are accompanied by renowned international quartets. The ADAM Quartetgave concerts at the famous String Quartet Biennale and in large venues such as Muziekgebouw aan't IJ and the National Opera.

We also received masterclasses from Marc Danel, Gilles Millet (Quator Danel), Dmitri Ferschtman (Glinka Quartet) and Pavel Fischer (Skampa Quartet). With a fresh look we as a quartet are looking for ways to shed our own light on the genre while remaining true to the essence of this form of music.
