Evil Master
It is true I had a master, an evil one
It is true the devil once had hold of me
He was in total control of my body, soul and mind
I was a victim of bondage, I was his fool
He ripped me apart and made me a shadow
He lent me a hand and sent me to hell
His control is domineering and almost never ceasing
In my gloomy cloud of anger and frustration
I heard a springy whisper
Whisper of love divine,
Coming from heaven high
The whisper I once ignored
Before my master had me bond
It calmly filled the void that had hurt me all along
I'm on my road to recovery
I'm hurling my pain and worry
Into the depths of oceans deep
I'm gaining my once lost sanity
As love makes my wounds fade.

Very beautifully done poem about the addiction and moving away from it. Devil once held of me. So true and nice. Loved the poem.
