Adding BT connectivity to an old speaker
For quite some time my father had some Aiwa speakers from a broken audio equipment that was eventually discarded and forgotten. I recently came up with the idea of seeing if I could adapt one of the speakers, into a Bluetooth speaker of good power/quality. I started by testing the speaker on an existing computer to check that it worked, and luckily it did. I have no way of objectively evaluating it, but I found the audio quality excellent. although I am not a professional in it, I liked it for what I always use it.

Regarding the amplifier, I decided on a tpa3118 60w class d mono audio amplifier module, it costs around $15

Regarding the BT audio receiver module I decided on the following module Bluetooth receiver board lossless stereo 5v mp3, it is very economical between 2 and 4$

To power the BT receiver use a source witching ac 220v dc output 5v 700ma step down ac/dc about $5 approximately

The result far exceeded my expectations. The audio quality is excellent, both the treble and the bass sound perfect. And the sound power is more than enough for any occasion, I think a higher power amplifier could damage the speaker.
