Adler- und Wolfspark Kasselburg - Getaway at Eifel Volcano in Germany
Bird and wolf park in Pelm - Germany
An animal park near Gerolstein, near the town of Pelm. A nice getaway when you're on vacation in the Eifel Volcano.
The Kasselburg is a 13th century castle, the centre of the park.
You can also go into the ruins of the castle, and you can climb the tall tower for a magnificent view of the surroundings.
For kids, it's a fun park. The park is 35 hectares and when you enter you first arrive at the playground and petting zoo. When we were there, you couldn't reach the animals. You can feed the animals, and there were a lot of little kids, which the girls loved. (okay I'll admit, so am I)
Always have a good look at the site when the bird show is. When we were there, it was at 11 am and 3 pm. You actually have to take that with you, otherwise you will only see the birds in their lofts.
