Unfortunately, taking care does not always go well and sometimes there is actually abuse.
In Zeeland, there is a small organization AlpacasRescueNederland where neglected alpacas are collected. Taking care of the animals is very time-intensive and a lot needs to be added because they have often not had the right food. With this organization, it is possible to adopt Alpacas virtually. A nice solution, you help the animals and get an update regularly and also a real meet and greet.
I would like to introduce you to my adoptive alpaca: Yowie A beautiful light brown gentleman, who couldn't get along with his buddy anymore. He is very restless and therefore makes a lot of sounds and is also very moving. But look at that head! It's a cutie anyway
In the right picture, he is hesitant to see if he can start eating the Christmas tree. There is also a lot of walking with the alpaca.
