We horen dus liever niet dat de pasgeboren hanen-kuikentjes worden vernietigd en de kippen zelf geen leuk rustig leven leiden. Maar het is om van te huilen.
Een kleine verbetering is wel dat ze nu al op z'n minste een beetje meer kunnen rondscharrelen en niet meer in afgesloten kotjes moet blijven.
Maar het blijft triestig om te zien met hoeveel ze op 1 ruimte bij elkaar worden gedreven. En dan maar eieren leggen aan de lopende band...
De kippen hebben het niet getroffen in onze moderne maatschappij. Ik heb echt wel met hen te doen.
