Good news at the Alpacas-Zeelandia company, an alpaca was born this week.
After a gestation of more than 11 months, Mama Amber put a little mare foal on the grass on Monday morning. The brown alpaca weighed 7 kilos and quickly stood on her legs. She got the name Evita.
Because of the low temperature, she has been put on a jacket so that she does not consume too much energy and can maintain weight. She just walks in the herd and is very entrepreneurial.
