What do you need?


  • 4 Pottery flower pots of different sizes (at garden center)
  • Small glass jar with tealight battery
  • 1 Flat styropor (styrofoam) ring 20cm
  • Ribbon, cord or rope to decorate the tower and rolled up as a roll of rope for anchor
  • (Wooden) ring as lifebuoy, can also be made with self-hardening clay
  • Acrylic paint red and white (e.g. Amsterdam matt universal paint)
  • Waterproof marker to draw door and windows
  • Shell sand, mixed with little water and glue (e.g. Amsterdam Medium Gel)
  • 4 styropor asterisks (6.5 cm) and a stanley knife to cut lengthwise
  • Foam Clay metallic gold for pasting starfish + small wobble eyelets (but you can also paint them)
  • Foam clay red for edge jar (but also with a few rubber bands)
