Androcles and the lion
A slave named Androcles had the chance to escape one day and ran to the forest.
And as he walked aimlessly he came to where a lion lay, who moaned begged him:
I beg you to help me, because I stumbled over a hawthorn and a barb buried me in the claw and it has me bleeding and sore.
Androcles examined it and gently removed the spine, washed and healed the wound. The lion invited him to his cave where he shared food with him.
But days later, Androcles and the lion were found by their search engines. Androcles brought to the emperor was condemned to the circus redondel to fight the lions.
Once in the sand, a lion was released, and he began to roar and seek assault on his victim. But as he approached him he recognized his benefactor and threw himself on him but to lick him affectionately and perch on his lap like a faithful pet.
Surprised by what happened, he knew the story in the end and forgave the slave and freed the lion in the forest.
Moraleja: Good deeds are always rewarded.
