Isn't it cute? For almost a year now I have lived in Kenya, and I cannot resist visiting the elephant orphanage at least once a month.
Because of all the poaching of elephants, many baby elephants lose their parents, which is absolutely disgusting.
What this orphanage does is truly wonderful, they raise the elephants babies themselves!
What I find really special, is that no matter which day you visit them, they are always so playful and so joyful.
Baby elephants, that are only a few weeks old, love to be cuddled. They love the attention.
And then of course the best part: feeding. The caretakers have such a special bond with the animals!
It's something really worth visiting. I have seen, visited and volunteered at many kinds of orphanages. But this one, is one of a kind!
