Annie M.G. Schmidt Day - May 20
Who doesn't know her? Annie MG. Schmidt was born on May 20, 1911. She has written countless books with poems, verses, songs and even plays and musicals, for radio and TV. The children's verse of Dikkertje Dap is of course also very well known, and who doesn't know Jip and Janneke, Pluk van de Petteflet and Abeltje? The spider Sebastiaan, Beertje Pippeloentje and I'm pretty naughty! I myself used to nominate a lot of them at school. :)
