Apenheus
Last year, on an autumn October day, I visited the Apenheul with my nephew and niece.

Around 35 species of monkeys live in the Apenheul. Altogether, that's almost 300 monkeys! More than half of them also run loose between the visitors.
Unfortunately, not all residents were able to admire outside this late in the season, but we have come a good end.
Before we get to the monkeys, first take a look at the largest insect wall in the world.
The wall consists of two separate walls with a combined length of more than a hundred meters. The walls are decorated like a giant insect hotel. why? To help local biodiversity.
