The astronomical phenomenon called aphelion or afhelion and which happens every year when the Earth is farthest from the Sun. According to reports from NASA, the United States space agency, this is not the case, as they have said on some networks, either in April or March, but in early July.

Every 365 days, the Earth goes around the Sun in an ellipsis, during this movement it is closer or farther away from it, but this does not mean that the planet cools or warms up according to this distance, as a WhatsApp network has been stating.

Similarly, the phenomenon is not large enough, for the change in climate to be significant, since it is subject to a variety of conditions

Information from the Montevideo Planetarium site states that the next aphelion will be on July 4, 2022 at 4H10 local (7H10 GMT), with a distance between the two astronomical bodies of 152,098,455 km, when on average the distance is 150,000,000 km, which is equivalent to 83 light minutes or an astronomical unit.

This happens because the Earth's trajectory around the Sun is elliptical and not circular, so there are times when our planet is farther from the Sun and others closer (perihelion), explains the site.
