Why a command plan, you can never plan it!”

Everywhere I read things during my pregnancy about a order plan, and especially the criticism about it. “Why a commanded plan, you can never plan it anyway!” I read about every article. The reason I did was because I have a congenital hip defect myself. Lying birth was not an option for me. In retrospect I am glad that I wrote this down. Although my birth is now almost eight months ago, I am still fresh and that I really didn't want to lay gold on it.

Why that birth/order plan

It never hurts to think carefully about your birth and take time for this too! What do you want? What can you do? By writing down all your expectations, you make them easier to discuss with your obstetrician/gynecologist. Sometimes it may be that you are transferred during the course and thus get another obstetrician. Everyone can see your wishes and my experience is that they stick to it much easier when it's all black and white. And not unimportant, your partner also knows where he stands...

Example of my order plan.
