The Museo del Chicó

The Museo del Chicó or Mercedes Sierra de Pérez Museum is a park-museum located in the El Chicó neighborhood, north of the city of Bogotá.

It was declared an asset of cultural interest in the district in 1992 and today it gives its name to the surrounding neighborhood. It is located between Carreras 7 and 9, between streets 92 and 94 in the town of Chapinero, reflecting in its construction a typical hacienda of the Sabana de Bogotá (18th century colonial house with republican touches, gardens and centenary trees). It has been operating as a museum since 1976.

In its permanent exhibition the Viceregal Room and three French rooms stand out.
