The saying: fighting like cat and dog is not about this in my house. That's a good thing, because the cat is bigger than the dog. During their joint play things are rough, yet my dog is in charge and the cat leaves her alone after one growl. They're crazy about each other and now that my dog is so sick (heart disease) the cat is watching over the dog. During the day I get to do it and at night he takes over and with every weird noise from the dog, the cat meows meow meows me up. Sleepless nights it brings me. Yet it's so touching to see how they are close to each other. The cat in a watchstand and the dog far in dreamland.

Also a saying is; when the cat is away, the mice dance. Now, they don't get a chance at all in the house. A real mice infestation in an almost uninhabitable house close by. The mice seemingly want to be warm in the back of my kitchen. They're crazier on peanut butter than regular cheese, I must say. I had tried all kinds of cheese. From very young to old, did not yield a mouse in my traps, which I put in the back of the countertop. The countertop had to be hermetically sealed, with lock and everything, because the cat was not to be knocked away and could open the door with its paw, crawled in it and couldn't go back. Which gave me a lot of screaming and I managed to tear her loose with a lot of trouble to her puffy soft fur, which he couldn't really appreciate. He rushed meowing to my dog for a hug, where he went to wash himself badly annoyed and ignored me.

One night I came home and that crazy cat was sitting through the grate under the fridge, his tail set up and a growl I couldn't really put on a cat. Well, I'm lying on my stomach and looking through that same grid, flashlight on, and yes there was a mouse there. The trap in the locker was empty, so think he was just taking it out or something. Then I tried that delicious peanut butter in the traps, poor mouse and her or his family.

Returning to the first saying; life as a cat and dog, that is really a sight for the eye here. The love between those two is pure and unconditional. So caring that that crazy cat belongs to me, I've never seen before.

If I compare that to humanity, there's still a lot to learn from this, I think. The world is too full of itself, does not listen, has little understanding for another.

well and if I get it yes. Well, I'd rather enjoy your cat and dog story. But I would have liked to see a picture of those 2 treasures.
