As History Repeats (Covid Poem)

EPIDEMIC OF THE YEAR 1800, LOOK AT WHAT BEAUTY OF POEM WRITTEN 2 CENTURIES AGO... HISTORY IS REPEATED TODAY!!!!
When the storm passes
And they love the roads
and let's be survivors
of a collective shipwreck.
With the tearful heart
and blessed fate
we will feel blissful
just for being alive.

And we'll give you a hug
to the first unknown
and we will praise luck
to keep a friend.

And then we will remember
everything we lost
and once we will learn
everything we didn't learn.

We will no longer be envious
because everyone will have suffered.
We will no longer have a neglect.
We'll be more compassionate.

It will be worth more what is of all
That what has never been achieved
We'll be more generous
And much more committed
We will understand the fragile
what does estar vivos
We will sweat empathy
who is and who is gone.

We'll miss the old man
who asked for a weight in the market,
that we didn't know his name
and it was always by your side.
And maybe the poor old man
was God in disguise.

You never asked the name
because you were in a hurry.
And everything will be a miracle
And everything will be a legacy
And life will be respected,
the life we have won.

When the storm passes
I ask God, sorry,
make us better,
as you dreamed of us.

Very thoughtful poem that makes us think about our daily actions, how fragile we are and that this is unrepeatable, that we must value every second of life, next to those who want. These times of pandemic bring to the stage this poem.

If the story repeats itself, it is as if that poem was made for this time, it is a good composition that reaches the heart of the hardest, may God protect us, that this is over soon and that this song is left only for the memory of a shipwreck that we survived.
