Before I have a article written about Saint John in 's-Hertogenbosch, one of the most beautiful examples of Brabant Gothic. 

The cathedral (bishop's church) is open to the public and can be viewed, except of course during church services. Visitors are asked, understandably, respect. In the Chapel of Mary, the public can go for a moment of reflection or prayer. It is widely used, as witnessed by the many burning tealights. But you can also see Saint John from a completely different perspective. Climb the tower!
