The first historical reference to athletics dates back to 776. C. in Greece, with a list of the winning athletes of a competition. Within athletics there are various modalities of testing. This is very complex because due to athletics many sports emerged, for example: foot races (speed, medium distance, bottom, fence racing, cross country, relay..), jumps (length, height, triple jump, pole jump), throws (weight, javelin, hammer..), athletic walking, and tests combined. The latter are also known as decathlon and, as its name suggests, is made up of ten tests: three launches, three jumps and four races.
