Awake, the new Netflix movie..!
On June 9, the streaming platform will release this post-apocalyptic thriller that promises a lot.
Netflix loves post-apocalyptic movies and after Bird Box and Silencio, is preparing to release Awake (Disomnia), a thriller in which humans have lost the ability to sleep.
The film directed by Mark Raso and starring Gina Rodriguez will arrive on June 9 on the platform and soon published the first trailer.
“Global hysteria occurs after a mysterious catastrophe erases all electronic devices and removes mankind's ability to sleep.
Scientists run against the clock to find a cure for inexplicable insomnia before its fatal effects eliminate the human race.
When Jill, a former soldier, discovers that her little daughter may be the key to salvation, she must decide: to protect her children at all costs or sacrifice everything to save the world,” says Awake's official synopsis.
